The competition aims to encouraging students to actively explore trees in different districts in Hong Kong, and to look for and record their / local residents’ tree-related recollections and anecdotes through photo-taking, oral history interviews and reading articles, etc., so as to manifest the symbiotic relationship, interaction, and amity between humanity and the trees, with a view to raising students’ awareness of  environmental conservation, enabling them to appreciate, respect and love the trees, and joining hands for greening the environment and promoting sustainable development.
