Digital Financial Literacy Programme for Youth 2025/26 Financial Education Podcast Competition

The Digital Financial Literacy Programme for Youth 2025/26 Financial Education Podcast Competition (the Competition) was jointly organised by the Investor and Financial Education Council and the Education Bureau, in partnership with Hong Kong Economic Journal Education. The Competition featured two themes: investment and borrowing. Its objective was to help secondary school students achieve their personal financial goals by enhancing their understanding of these topics while familiarising them with the latest trends in fintech.

The Competition consisted of two categories the Junior Category (S1 to S3) and the Senior Category (S4 to S6 ). Students who advanced to the final contest submitted their podcasts and became “Financial Education Ambassadors”, promoting digital financial education within their schools during Financial Education Week, which ran from 2 March to 14 March 2026. There were about 800 students participated in the Competition.
