Mathematics Book Report Competition for Secondary Schools(2024/25)

The objective of this competition is to enhance students’ motivation and interest in reading Mathematics books and strengthen their learning ability to foster lifelong learning and whole person development. It also serves as a platform for students to share their experience in writing Mathematics book reports.

Introduction

From reading the book “攸關貧富與生死的數學, the student introduces the view of the author of the book how to apply mathematics to solve real-life problems.  The student also shares her understanding on further applications of mathematics to some real-life problems, e.g. Tests for COVID-19. Thereupon, this can discover more about the use of learning mathematics.
