The different corners of the six subdivided rooms are painted, and then pieced together to form a complete subdivided room. Children are always more optimistic than adults when looking at things, but as they grow up, inferiority complex, peer comparisons, and negative effects on physical and mental development will follow one after another. The six paintings represent the child’s six years, and the six years of waiting for the public housing to get on the bus. “The Road to Infinity” can be a road without poverty; it can also be intergenerational poverty, an endless cycle.
