Time to Talk Public Speaking Competition (TTT) 2021/22 is organised by the Native-speaking English Teacher (NET) Section, Curriculum Development Institute (CDI), Education Bureau.
TTT is an inclusive competition that aims to engage students of all ability levels to:
– learn public speaking techniques to hone their presentation skills;
– experiment with the use of English to develop confidence in front of an audience;
– develop research, collaboration and IT skills to improve their communication skills; and
– develop positive values and attitudes in the course of preparing for participation in the competition.
Some people are not professionals but their creations are beyond everybody’s expectations. The presentation is about how people can make a change without any special powers or a lot of money.

“Moving on with a Wicked Stepmother”, depicts 12-year-old Rihanna’s journey of moving on from her mother’s death as a new woman is introduced into her life by her father. Rihanna puts an ad for a new mom on Instagram hoping to find a better replacement than the woman her father has chosen. Obsessed with the story of Cinderella, Rihanna equates her new potential stepmom with the wicked Stepmother from Cinderella, but later realizes the word “wicked” takes on a whole new meaning for her.
