The Outstanding Student Award aims to enhance students’ reflective thinking in field learning / experiential learning so that their reflection could match with the authentic learning experience, demonstrate the ability to apply related theories, concepts, ideas and terminology, support views with appropriate data collected from a range of sources, explore and/or examine own beliefs, assumptions, values and feelings on the experience, suggest sound and feasible proposals for improvement as well as demonstrate the rresentation skills such as presentation of data and suggestions.

Brief of Work
This learning experience not only provided me an opportunity to have face to face communication with people-in-recovery(PIR), who suffered from mental discorders before, but also gave me a hands-on experience on interacting with a PIR. What we learn from books are only theories about mental health. But she told us the real story. Another thing I learnt from her is persistence. Suffering from depression is harsh. However, she persists to overcome this challenge and lives better life. She showed us a great example and I believe this spirit is worth learning from.
